"Death by Chocolate"

I was thinking of where to start when I thought what better place than chocolate! This book contains all the indulgences you could ever need or want. It contains a range of recipes from "Simply Chocolate" to "Chocolate Dementia", in his words. The book itself is lovely with extremely tempting pictures of each and every dessert which is incredibly helpful when making some of the more detailed cakes. I think everyone needs some great go to chocolate recipes on hand for pretty much any occasion. Chocolate can be as informal as a small get together with the girls and as formal as an evening dinner party. This book contains both. I guess that's just another great thing about chocolate, it's versatility and the fact it is admired, pretty much anywhere. So far I have made the Chocolate Strawberry Mousse Cake and it was chocolate heaven. Beware though I wouldn't take as large of a slice as you think you might want, it is extremely rich!!!! I suppose the only con would be the excessive pile of dishes I had in my sink after making this cake. I suppose this is partly my fault and I am sure I could be much more efficient when I make it next time. Some recipes do take quite a bit of time (Sometimes days)which is the only downfall of this book, but I assure you they will be worth it. But don't worry if you have a chocolate craving there's always the brownies and cookies for your more immediate gratification. If you love and intend on making anything chocolate I highly suggest the leadership of Marcel Desaulniers. He is pretty much a chocolate master. He has also published "I'm Dreaming of a Chocolate Christmas", "Death by Chocolate Cakes", "Celebrate with Chocolate", "Death by Chocolate Cookies", and "Desserts to Die For". If you love chocolate you will enjoy this one!
